Welcome to Rise and Shine Connecticut! We're 96.5 TIC morning hosts Christine and Salt and we're the ones who started this amazing organization. We wanted to create something special—a way we could provide unwavering support and valuable assistance to children and families in need all across our state.
Our vision was simple: to make a real impact on the lives of those facing tough times and be there to lend a helping hand when they needed it most. We know that everyone's needs are different, from sudden emergencies to ongoing struggles.
At Rise and Shine Connecticut, we're lucky to have an incredible team of caring individuals who share our passion for making a difference. We truly believe that every child and family deserves a chance to thrive, regardless of the challenges they face.
Compassion, empathy, and integrity are at the core of everything we do. We approach every situation with genuine empathy, taking the time to understand the unique circumstances and challenges faced by each person and family we encounter.

And let's not forget about our incredible end-of-year Christmas giving program called "5000 Toys for Girls and Boys." During the holiday season, we rally the community by going on air on 96.5 TIC to ask for help collecting 5000 toys for children in need. It's a truly magical time where we all come together—generous individuals, businesses, and organizations—to bring joy and smiles to the faces of kids throughout Connecticut.
